Midwest grain meets tropical fruit . . .
Here is a recipe for a great tasting, healthy, exotic snack. And it's easy to make because there is no baking!
1 cup of honey (preferably raw)
1/2 cup butter (use soy butter for a vegetarian diet)
4 cups of rolled oats
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup of Java Bite dried mango (cut into 1/4 inch pieces)
about 3/4 cup of milk powder
about 1/2 cup dried coconut flakes (optional)
Melt together the honey and butter on low heat. Remove from heat and add the rolled oats, sunflower seeds and Java Bite dried mango. Add sufficient milk powder to bind the mixture. Wet your hands and squeeze into 1-inch balls. If desired, roll the balls in dried coconut flakes, completing the union between tropical fruit and midwest grain!
